Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oak Harbor, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The Work to be performed involves site preparation, shore-line restoration and trail improve-ments. These activities shall include; improvements to road for site access; utility locate; protec-tion of buried fiber optic cable; TESL installation; relocation of memorial bench; clearing and grubbing; removing of asphalt, armor rock and concrete debris from, shoreline; stockpiling armor rock at maintenance yard; recy-cling of concrete and asphalt debris; excavating and dispos-ing of fill; procurement and plac-ing beach material, large woody debris; mulch and soil; riparian and trail planting and installing. ADA gravel; and other work nec-essary to complete the Project. All access to the site will be by land. Engineer's Estimate for this work is $200,000 to $240,000. All bid proposals shall he accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified or cashier's check or surety bid bond made payable to the Northwest Straits Marine Conservation Foundation; for a sum not less than five per-cent. (5%) of the total amount of such bid including sales tax, and all listed additives and alter-nates. The NWSF reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities or irregu-larities in the bid or in the bidding process, and make the award as deemed to be in the best interest of the N.WSF. All bidders and sub-contractors shall have a contrac-tor's license to work in the State of Washington. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
