Renovation of a municipal facility in Oak Harbor, Washington. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,900-square-foot municipal facility.
Bids received after the time fixed for receiving bids cannot be considered. 2,900 SF of interior wall and ceiling painting of an existing lobby and two courtrooms. A surety company bid bond executed by a State licensed surety company on a form acceptable to Owner, a cashier's check or a certified check payable to the order of Island County Facilities Management, shall accompany each bid in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the Base Bid plus Additive Alternates, if any. No bidder may withdraw its bid after the hour set for the opening thereof, unless the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding sixty (60) days. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities and to reject any and/or all Bids for any reason and, in particular, to reject a Bid not accompanied by any required bid security or data required by the Bidding Documents or a Bid in any way incomplete or irregular.
