The work to be performed by the CONSULTANT consists of the design and construction support of a fish passable culvert located near the intersection of Penn Cove Road and Riepma Avenue in Island County, Washington. This includes evaluating existing hydraulic conditions upstream and downstream of culvert #3352. The general scope of work includes preliminary site characterization, collection and analysis of hydraulic data, collection and analysis of geotechnical data, completion of a topographic survey, environmental permitting and monitoring, and the design and installation of a fish passable replacement culvert. Tasks may include but are not limited to the following: o Preparation of a Hydraulic Report o Preparation of a Geotechnical Engineering Report o Provide geotechnical field inspection during construction o Preparation of a Cultural Resource Survey o Preparation of a Full Topographic Survey and Existing Conditions for Plan Development o All environmental work and reporting necessary to meet permitting requirements o Fish passage design to meet current standards and regulations o Development of full plan sets, stamped by a Washington State Licensed Engineer o All CAD drafting and design work completed according to Island County CAD standards The Method of Contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
