Site work and paving for a civil project in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
The work generally consists of the complete reconstruction of Angeline Avenue, from Wellington Street East to Ceasar Road, including storm and sanitary sewers, watermains, appurtenances and service connections. Tenders must be accompanied with a tender deposit in the form of a certified cheque, money order, bid bond or bank draft in the amount of 10% of the Tender Price payable to the Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie. The tender deposit and Agreement to Bond shall be delivered to the City in an envelope marked to the City Clerk prior to closing. Complete tender submissions shall be scanned to a maximum 10MB pdf document and emailed to the email address listed above. The successful bidder will be required to provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond upon execution of the contract. Tenders are subject to a formal contract being prepared and executed. The Corporation of the City of Sault Ste. Marie reserves the right to reject any or all tenders and the lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. Only Contractors who submit a bona fide tender will have this deposit refunded if the documents are returned in good condition within fifteen (15) days following the tender closing date.
