North County Fire Protection District (District) will receive sealed bids for the Winterwarm Drive Fire Station #2 Renovation Project in the community of Fallbrook, CA for services set forth herein, subject to all conditions outlined in the Project Manual. North County Winterwarm Station #2 Renovation. Scope of work to be performed consists of renovations of an existing Fire Station on Winterwarm Drive. A total of 150 consecutive calendar days to complete the project. In accordance with provisions of Section 3300 of the California Public Contract Code, the Contractor shall possess any and all contractors licenses, in form and class as required by any and all applicable laws with respect to any and all of the work to be performed under this contract including, a "Class-B" (General Building Contractor) License in accordance with the provisions of the Contractor's License Law (California Business and Professions Code, Section 7000 et. seq.). In accordance with the provisions of Section 1770, et seq., of the Labor Code, the Director of the Industrial Relations of the State of California has determined the general prevailing rate of wages applicable to the work to be done. The Contractor will be required to pay to all persons employed on the project by the Contractor sums not less than the sums set forth in the documents entitled "General Prevailing Wage Determination made by the Director of Industrial Relations pursuant to California Labor Code, Part 7, Chapter 1, Article 2, Sections 1770, 1773, 1773.1. BID SECURITY: Each bid shall be accompanied by bid security in the form and amount specified in Public Contract Code Sections 20170 and 20171. See Bid Package for details. PAYMENT BOND and Completion Bond: A Payment Bond and a Completion Bond, each in the amount of 100% of the contract amount, will be required of the Contractor.
