The proposed project consists of interior renovations and the addition of two dormers to the Gillespie Center located at 45 Jesup Road in Westport. An A-2 Quality Survey is required to meet the Planning & Zoning Department's specifications for a project affecting the height of the Gillespie Center building located at 45 Jesup Road in Westport. At least 8 elevations spaced at equal intervals around the proposed building or addition are required and the points should be located within 10' from the outer wall. The overall building height is then measured from the lower of the existing or proposed average grade to the midpoint height of a pitched roof or top of a flat roof. Please be sure to show the proposed building height from average grade on elevation. CONTRACTOR shall provide statutory workers compensation insurance required by law with employer's liability limits for at least the amounts of liability for bodily injury by accident of $500,000 each accident and bodily injury by disease of $500,000 including a waiver of subrogation in favor of the Town. Full compliance with the United States Longshoremen's and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act and the Jones Act is required where applicable. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
