1. Return all wall and ceiling surfaces to original condition by removing wall coverings such as wall paper, contact paper, stickers, decals as well as adhesive and residue. 2. All surfaces shall be patched, sanded, smoothed, primed and painted. All holes, cracks, divots, gouges and other deviations must be corrected before painting. This shall include ceilings, walls, baseboards, trim, interior doors, exterior doors/frames, shed doors/frames, floors and steps. 3. Floors and steps shall be painted only if they were previously painted. 4. Remove all switch/receptacle covers prior to painting. At no time shall paint be applied over wall mounted switches or receptacles. 5. Once paint is fully dried, contractor shall be responsible for installing all electrical covers. 6. Painting contractor shall not remove wire shelving. 7. Apply primer to all repaired areas. 8. All painting work must be done utilizing roller and brush. Spraying is not permitted. Contractor shall apply 2 finish coats. 9. All interior wooden window sashes and frames must be painted on inside of unit, metal sashes do not get painted. Contractor must make sure all windows and panel boxes open and are not painted shut. 10. Painting contractor to ensure that all surfaces are properly prepared and professionally painted. 1. Remove dried paint, tape and tape residue from sills, window moldings, vinyl cove base, cabinets, light fixtures, wire shelves, etc. 2. Sweep all floors 3. Clean window glass (inside and out) 4. Strip and wax (2 coats) all tile and vinyl flooring ensuring smooth and even finish when looking at 30 degree angle from floor 5. Clean, strip and wax non-painted hardwood flooring. 6. Scour sinks, tubs, shower stalls and related surfaces, remove all mold and soap stains. 7. Clean and disinfect toilets inside and out including seats. 8. Clean out inside of drawers and cabinets. Clean top of cabinets where there is no soffit. 9. Remove grease from all kitchen surfaces, ie: cabinet fronts cannot be tacky to the touch. 10. Thoroughly clean all range surfaces (front, sides and back) inside and out. Clean range hood fan and underside of fan. 11. Thoroughly clean and disinfect the refrigerator inside and out, remove all magnets and stickers 12. Remove and clean ceiling light globes and reinstall. 13. Clean vinyl cove base molding and apply a coat of wax 14. Clean all surfaces of entry doors, shed doors, mechanical room doors and storm doors and all door hardware. 15. Remove heating covers, vacuum and remove all dust and debris from radiator heating elements and replace covers. 16. Contractor shall remove all cleaning products and waste from the unit when completed. Scope of Work -- Structural Work consists of, but may not be limited to: 1. luan and/or plywood floor and subfloor removal and replacement 2. floor joist scab and/or replacement 3. VCT removal and replacement 4. sheet vinyl removal and replacement 5. wood or vinyl cove base removal and replacement 6. countertop removal and replacement, to include sink and plumbing connections 7. cabinet removal, replacement or repair 8. toilet removal and replacement, to include plumbing connections 9. ceramic tile removal and fiberglass wall panel installation in bathrooms 10. drywall removal, installation, finishing and painting 12. interior door/frame removal and replacement 11. shut off gas valve and disconnect flexible gas line to move stove CLARIFICATION DEADLINE 4/28/2022 10:00 AM
