Site work for a road / highway in Regina, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The City seeks a qualified contractor to complete asphalt crack sealing on roads throughout the City's network. This work will occur over the course of 3 years (2022-2024) between August 1 and October 15 of each year and will include: The routing, cleaning, sealing and protecting cracks in flexible asphalt pavement at various locations throughout the City with associated traffic and pedestrian accommodations. It is estimated that approximately 96,000 linear meters of asphalt crack sealing will be completed annually. The major items of work are as follows: Scheduling; Non-Parking signs placement at least one day before crack sealing if applicable; Routing cracks in flexible asphalt pavement with proper-sized blades; Cleaning cracks in flexible asphalt pavement with hot air lance; Sealing cracks in flexible asphalt pavement with hot rubberized crack sealant; Covering sealed cracks in flexible asphalt pavement with proper materials; Traffic accommodation; and Pedestrian/traffic control. Unless otherwise indicated, and subject to applicable exceptions and exclusions, this procurement is covered by: Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement Chapter 19 of the Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement Article 14 of the New West Partnership Trade Agreement
