General work description : The work to be done generally consists of installing prefabricated Trash Treatment Control Devices (TTCD) at three locations in the Tara Hills area. Work includes temporary water diversion and dewatering, roadway and structure excavation, temporary shoring, installation of TTCD units, reconstruction of sidewalk and roadway, and replacing roadway striping. You are required to subcontract a minimum of 22% of your bid in accordance with the Mandatory Subcontracting Minimum requirements within these special provisions. Shipping charges are extra, depending on the delivery method. The Public Works Department does not guarantee the arrival of the plans and specifications in time for bidding. You may obtain electronic PDF copies of the plans and specifications upon purchase of the bid package through the Online Planroom for no additional service charge.
