Renovation of a mixed-use development in Ansonia, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a four-story above grade fire / police facility; sidewalk / parking lot; and parking garage.

The Project consists of elevated interior parking slab repair/rehabilitation in an existing, occupied, 4-story building including membrane waterproofing, line striping and handicap parking sign installation at the City of Ansonia Police Facility located at 65 Main Street, Ansonia, CT. Project Alternates include repair of interior slab-on-grade parking deck and removal and reinstallation of existing wire mesh Sally Port Construction. Project Construction Cost is estimated at $500,000.00 Eligible Bidders shall be General Contractors with prior experience with similar scope of work. Bid Instructions and Forms: Full instructions and forms are included in the Bidding Documents. Bid Form: Sealed proposals submitted with bid security. Bid Security shall be issued payable to the "City of Ansonia" in the form of certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of 5% of the Base Bid. Label exterior of envelope with project title to avoid premature opening of bid. Required Bonds: Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of the Contract price with a surety company satisfactory to the Owner. Withdrawal of Bids: No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening of bids without written consent of the Owner. Rejection of Bids: The City of Ansonia reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to accept or reject any or all bids and waive any formalities in the bidding. Applicable Laws: The bidding shall be done in accordance with the Code of the City of Ansonia, and the laws of the State of Connecticut.
