Renovation of an educational facility in Neoga, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
As of 04/25/2022 This project has been awarded to Seward Masonry in the amount of Alternate 1 - $18,440 Alternate 2 - $8,895 Base Bid - $51,650 for a total amount of $78,985. The scope of work consists of masonry restoration including, brick replacement, tuck-pointing, replacement of control joints, and masonry cleaning. Prevailing wages in accordance with Cumberland Coiuity is required. Bid security is required, in the form of a bid bond or certified check in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the base bid as guarantee that the bid will not be withdrawn within 30 days after the date of opening of bids, and that the successful bidder will enter into a Contract for the work awarded them. Bid security shall be made payable to Neoga Community Unit School District #3. Bonds are required: Both a Performance Bond or a Labor & Material Payment Bond is required for this project, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price. Your Bid will be required to be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for a period of 30 days after submission. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids or any part thereof, to waive any informality in bidding, and to accept bids deemed most favorable to the Owner. Award of a contract is anticipated to occur at the April, 2022 meeting of the Board of Education.
