Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a civil project in Lower Pottsgrove Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel; for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.

This project consists of demolishing and removing an existing culvert and headwalls and replacing it with a new aluminum box culvert. In addition to the culvert, new paving, guiderail, and line striping is also proposed. Bidders must conform to the General Conditions and detailed Specifications in the bid package Responses will be provided on the portal and be visible to all Bidders. Any changes to the plans or specifications will be provided as an Addendum and notice will be given to Bidders through the website via email. No responses will be provided for requests received after 12:00 pm on April 15, 2022.Bids will be publicly awarded on May 2, 2022, at 7:00 pm (local time) at the Lower Pottsgrove Township Building, 2199 Buchert Road, Pottstown, PA 19464 The bid must be accompanied by a Cashier Check, Certified Check, or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the bid, made payable to the Township of Lower Pottsgrove. Also required are a properly executed Bid Form, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Certification Statement, and Contractor Qualification Statement. The successful bidder shall also be required to provide a Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount within ten (10) calendar days of written notice of acceptance of the Bid. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to accept any portion of any bid, and to award Contracts as is deemed best for the Township. The Township also reserves the right to waive any defects, errors, omissions, irregularities, or informalities in bids received.
