Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid a certified check, or a bid bond, for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid as provided in the Information for Bidders. Contractors that find discrepancies and/or errors in or between plans, specifications, quantities and other matters, must immediately notify Todd Penney, P.E., 1712 Main Street, Coventry, CT 06238 or at tpenney@coventryct.org in writing not less than ten (10) days before the scheduled bid opening The right is reserved to reject any or all bids in whole or in part, to award any item, group of items, or total bid and to waive any informality or technical defects, if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town of Coventry.
