Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Coventry, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.

As of February 6, 2025, this project is under construction. Work should be completed by May 1st. The Town has received a $500,000 Bond Grant from the State of Connecticut to be administered by the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) specifically to be used for Improvements geared towards the park's pedestrian safety and ADA compliance, vehicular access and parking, and site amenities as the funding allows. The contract with CT DEEP is attached for use with the RFP submission. The Town developed a concept plan to depict the intended improvements and is attached for use with the RFP submission. The Proposal shall be set up with two Phases; the First Phase shall develop Preliminary Design (~30%) Plan for all items noted above. The Second Phase shall cover the completion of construction documents funded by the Grant. Said Preliminary Design will be the basis for all future park improvements. All work performed under the contract between the Town of Coventry and the firm shall be under the direction of professional engineers, professional landscape architects and licensed land surveyors licensed by the State of Connecticut.
