Site work and paving for a road / highway in Summit, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of June 10 the project was awarded to Udeen Trucking for $88,394.02. The Town of Summit will accept bids for the application of surface aggregate on the Pioneer Trail from 1000' east of Ried Road to Hwy 35, Reid Road, and Harapat Road at a 16' width plus 2' shoulders for a distance of 1.68 miles and Foxboro Chaffey Road from Hwy 35 toward Dietz Road for a width of 18'with 2' shoulders for a distance of 0.63 miles. The project consists of compacted 4 inches of 3/4 " minus aggregate, with hardpan or gravel binders, to be applied, graded, watered and rolled by the contractor, to provide the 16' /18' wide driving surface, with 2 foot shoulders. The project to be completed no later than September 15, 2022. All work and material shall conform to WISDOT standard specifications. Contractor shall provide certification of above compliance to the town at project end. Contractor must provide certificate of insurance. All signage shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Bids shall include cost per ton for the gravel with estimated usage. The Town of Summit reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to select the bid most advantageous to the town. The town reserves the right to change the project length to fit the budget.
