Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Summit, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Town of Summit will accept bids for the 2026 LRIP project for the application of surface gravel to be applied, on Milchesky Road from Hwy 35 to Rancon Road for a distance of 5174 . Please Note: this is a short time frame due to dust control application following the project completion. The project consists of compacted 4 (inches) of minus aggregate with hardpan or gravel binders, to be applied, graded, compacted, and rolled by the contractor, to provide the 20 wide driving surface, with 2 shoulders for a total width of 24 . The project is to be completed no later than May 22, 2026. All work and materials shall conform to WISDOT standard specifications. All signage shall be the responsibility of the contractor. Contractor shall provide for the above project an engineering certificate of compliance, stating that compliance to WISDOT standard specifications have been met, at the completion of the project. This must be provided because the cost of the project exceeds $65,000. Bids shall include cost per ton for the gravel with estimated usage. The Town of Summit reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to select the most advantageous bid to the town. The Town reserves the right to change the project length to fit the budget.
