Site work and paving for a civil project in Waterville Valley, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and bridge / tunnel.

The Project consists of two phases: Phase 1: Reconstruction in place of approximately 2,300 linear feet of Snow's Brook Road between the two Village Road Intersections, with minor culvert replacements. Phase 2: Reconstruction of approximately 1,000 linear feet of Valley Road (from Tripoli Road to Tecumseh Road), 1,300 linear feet of Tecumseh Road (from Valley Road to Snow's Brook Road) and 1,100 linear feet of Snow's Brook Road (from Tecumseh Road to Village Road). Phase 2 improvements include drainage upgrades and the addition of pedestrian/bicycle facilities. The Contractor shall have obtained at least one set of electronic plans and specifications from HEB Engineers to be considered a responsive Bidder. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive any and all informalities not involving price, time or changes in the Work, and to negotiate contract terms with the Successful Bidder, and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids. Also, Owner reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid package is non-responsive, or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability, or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by Owner. Discrepancies in the multiplication of units of Work and unit prices will be resolved in favor of the unit prices. Discrepancies between the indicated sum of any column of figures and the correct sum thereof will be resolved in favor of the correct sum. The Phase 1 Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Construction Cost is between $750,000 and $900,000. The Phase 2 Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Construction Cost is between $1,000,000 and $1,200,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
