Renovation of an educational facility in Beech Island, South Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The School District of Aiken County will accept bids for the 2022 Replacing of Windows at Clearwater Elementary School. Performance and Labor/Materials (Payment) Bonds along with notarized Power of Attorney will be required at 100% each from the awarded bidder. A Bid Bond or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid will be required at bid opening. A valid Certificate of Insurance must also be submitted with the bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids and to waive all technicalities and formalities. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after opening. LIQUIDATED DAMAGES: Should the Bidder fail to complete the work within the agreed upon time, he/she agrees to pay, and authorize the Owner to retain the sum of Two Hundred and Fifty Dollars ($250.00) per day that the work remains incomplete
