Any contractor, who does not do so and submits a bid, does so at their own risk The Wilkes-Barre Township Council will consider the received bids for award at the public meeting on April 25, 2022 at 7:00 P.M. Attention is called to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Minimum Wage requirements contained within the Bid Documents that are to be utilized for this project. BID SECURITY in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of their bid amount and a Labor and Material Payment Bond for 100% of their bid amount within 15 days of the contract being awarded. The project is funded by a grant from the Local Share Account (LSA) Program Grant from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, Commonwealth Financing Authority and all requirements of this Authority are to be met by the Bidders Wilkes-Barre Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or portion thereof or to waive informalities in the bidding.
