Site work for a water / sewer project in Roanoke, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project Location: From I-81, take Exit 143 for I-581 S/US 220 S toward Airport/Roanoke. Continue for ~6 miles and take Exit 6 for VA-24/Elm Street. Turn right on Elm Street; at the next intersection, turn left on Williamson Road. Go ~0.5 miles, and the parcel provides access to the location of the Roanoke River crossing This project will include removing the current pipe that crosses the Roanoke River and then installing a new pipe at a lower elevation. Attendance at the bid opening is prohibited. The Project consists of installation of approximately 130 linear feet of 24-inch sanitary sewer across the Roanoke River and associated appurtenances in Roanoke, Virginia. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Prospective Bidders are encouraged to test the provided WebEx link well in advance of the pre-construction conference to confirm access and compatibility.
