As of August 03, 2022, project was awarded to Unuified Field Services with an awarded amount of $366,879. Project's construction will start sometime around August to September of this year. The District Board has exercised the option of rejecting all bids. District Engineering staff is re-evaluating alternatives to arrange for the painting of each facility included in the scope of work and will be re-soliciting bids for a reduced scope of work Please let me know if you have any questions of comments, can be contacted at garrett@sbcwd.com or 831-637-8218 ext. 120. Questions regarding the project may be addressed in writing or email to Garrett Haertel at the San Benito County Water District (email: garrett@sbcwd.com) Bids must be submitted on the preprinted bid forms supplied by the SBCWD as part of the bid Package and presented to SBCWD in a sealed envelope marked ATTN: Industrial Painting Services. Each Bid must be accompanied by cash, a certified or cashier's check, or a Bid Bond in favor of SBCWD in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the Total Bid Price. The Bid Security must be submitted directly to SBCWD prior to the specified date and time for bid opening as set forth in the Instructions to and Information for Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish SBCWD with Payment and Performance Bonds equal to 100% of the Contract Price.
