Per the owner, as of February 8, 2024, this project is in the final stages of design. The owner states that this project should be advertised for construction bids in the next few months. NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST FOR CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES CITY OF MADISON RIVERSIDE DRIVE SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS The City of Madison, Boone County, West Virginia is seeking the Expressions of Interest from qualified engineering firms to provide design, construction plan and specifications development, bid document preparation, bidding assistance, and construction administration for the City of Madison Riverside Drive Sidewalk improvements. Firms interested in being considered for this project Procurement of services will be in accordance with West Virginia State Code 5G-1 et seq. All interested firms must submit 2 bound copies of the following: 1. Letter of interest, 2. Statement of Qualifications showing experience of individuals and their proposed role, 3. Relevant Project Descriptions, 4. Current and projected workload, 5. Evidence of applicable Professional Registration and Professional Liability Insurance, 6. Geographical location of the office from which this contract will be served. After review of the submittals, the City will rank the firms. The selected firm must also fully comply with the Minority omen-Owned Business Enterprise and Affirmative Action requirements. If a portion of the contract is subcontracted, positive efforts must be made to subcontract to Minority omen-Owned Businesses. These efforts shall be in compliance with the six (6) affirmative action steps as outlines in 40 CFR 33.
