The Work under this Project consists of the construction of new force mains to replace the existing force mains from City Sewage Pump Stations 110 and 142. The force mains will be constructed in Byron Street, Independence Parkway, Volvo Parkway and Oak Grove Lake Park and will extend south through a cleared pipeline corridor to connect with the existing 12 inch force main from City Pump Station 108. The work includes construction of approximately 4,100 linear feet of 12-inch diameter force main from Pump Station 110 and approximately 3,000 linear feet of 6-inch diameter force main from Pump Station 142. The work includes on-site yard piping improvements at Pump Stations 110 and 142. The work includes all pipe, valves, air release valves, related appurtenances, incidentals, abandonment of the existing force mains, and all pavement and restoration work as required. A portion of the work will be installed through the Oak Grove Lake Park, and the contractor shall comply with the requirements of any temporary construction easement or provisions on that property.
