Renovate existing 32,115 SF Kettering National Guard Armory: Targeted interior design and renovation including paint, carpet, walls, ceilings, floors, doors, and office configuration. Replace HVAC system and ductwork throughout, boilers and pumps, etc.; New men's latrine converted from a classroom, convert men's latrine to women's, and convert women's latrine to a family/lactation restroom; New Windows and exterior Doors; Exterior on the armory needs support for gutters and possible snow guards. 5,428 SF FMS section of the building: Interior: HVAC continued.; Exterior: replace concrete pad and apron at the bay entrances, extend a bay to accommodate larger vehicles, correct the washed-out area in the motor pool with gravel, replace fence as needed, and add a man gate as alternates. For projects advertised with an appropriately developed Program of Requirements ("POR"), upon award of the Agreement, commence with Design. This project has a POR that may require further development. The selected A/E, as a portion of its required Scope of Services and prior to submitting its proposals, will discuss and clarify with the Owner and/or the Contracting Authority, the cost breakdown of the Architect/Engineer Agreement detailed cost components to address the Owner's project requirements. Participate in the Encouraging Diversity, Growth& Equity (EDGE) Program as required by statute and the Agreement.
