DOUGLAS COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT RE.1 (DCSD) is requesting pre-qualification submittals from interested structural engineering firms for Capital Improvement Projects. Capital Improvement Projects may have a construction cost range up to $3M+. Capital Improvement Projects may include but are not limited to, evaluation and structural analysis of facility systems, design of new or modifications to existing structural systems, and oversight and inspection of projects. Repairs and replacements of mechanical, electrical, roofing, and flooring building components, as well as site landscaping, concrete, and asphalt, may be a part of some projects. All costs incurred with material preparation and submission in response to this RFQ are the responsibility of the applicant. Submission of incomplete data or material received after the stated deadline will constitute disqualification. The school district reserves the right to reject any firm responding to this RFQ. It is the intent of DCSD to review submitted information and establish a list of pre-qualified structural engineering firms. Firms that are currently pre-qualified and in good standing with DCSD will only need to submit the Contact Information Form, which can be emailed directly to Kelly Kalcevic at kelly.kalcevic@dcsdk12.org. Pre-qualification material should consist of two (2) copies of a bound 8-1/2" x 11" document and one (1) electronic copy (flash drive) containing the information requested in this RFQ and a separate sealed envelope labeled "Confidential Information" containing one (1) copy of the Financial Information requested in this RFQ.
