Castle Rock Development Services (Development Services) requests bids from qualified firms who can provide ICC certified inspection and plan review services for building permits (Contractors) for Development Services. Additional Bidding Instructions (Inspections). These Inspections include both residential and commercial and in some cases require certification to inspect electrical. The Town typically employs combination building inspectors and would be looking to maintain the same through this contract. Development Services is also seeking on-call services for building plan review (Plan Review). The Plan Review would include primarily commercial buildings, with some new custom residential homes and some multi-family building reviews needed as well. For the calendar year of 2022 the on-call services are not to exceed the total allocated budget of $250,000. The contract period is for the remainder of 2022. Development Services is seeking a contractor to provide on-call inspection and plan review services for multiple consecutive years. Therefore, the contract agreement will include an option to be renewed for up to two additional one-year terms. An increase of up to 5% of the total allocated budget will be allowed for each year the contract is renewed.
