INVITATION TO BID Sealed proposals will be received by the Cornwall-Lebanon School District in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, in conjunction with the Cedar Crest High School Hot Water Storage Tank Replacement. Sealed bids shall be delivered to Jean Hentz at the Educational Service Center at 105 East Evergreen Road, Lebanon PA 17042. Bids will be publicly opened and read at this location by Cornwall-Lebanon School District. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price within ten (10) days after the Contract has been awarded and may also be required to furnish a Contractor's Qualification Statement. The Bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's or treasurer's check or bid bond payable to Cornwall-Lebanon School District in an amount no less than ten (10%) percent of the bid price. Electronic Bidding Documents may be secured by bona-fide bidders, from Moore Engineering Company in Lancaster PA for a non-refundable fee of $25. All Bidders are required to obtain Bid Documents from Moore Engineering Company, 3637 Columbia Avenue, Lancaster PA 17603, or their bids can be rejected. Please call Moore Engineering Company (717-285-3141) one day in advance so documents can be prepared. Bidders shall arrange site visit with the District by contacting Stuart Halsell (717-389-1907). The project is subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act, P.L. 744. Bidders shall refer to the provisions of Federal and State Statutes, Rules and Regulations dealing with the prevention of environmental pollution and the preservation of public, natural resources that affect the project, said provisions being submitted as part of the Specifications pursuant to Act No. 247 of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania approved October 26, 1972. The Cornwall-Lebanon School District hereby reserves the right, which is understood and agreed to by all bidders, to reject any and all bids and to waive any omissions, errors, mistakes, defects or irregularities in any bid at its sole discretion.
