Pool Concession Bid Bidders must enclose with their bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond for ten (10%) per cent of the amount of their bid. A Certificate of Insurance must accompany all bids to show that the bidder has liability insurance ($1,000,000.00 limit), Workers Compensation Insurance for their employees, and appropriate vehicle insurance if company vehicles are used. It is acceptable to give a general insurance certificate at the time of the bids, and then provide specific policy information prior to contract signing. Each proposal must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder, addressed to the Borough of Glen Rock and plainly marked on the outside of the envelope: " POOL CONCESSION BID". All bidders shall provide a statement which shall set forth the names and addresses of all stockholders in the corporation who own ten percent (10%) or more of its stock of any class, or of all individual partners in a partnership who own ten percent (10%) of greater interest therein. This information is required pursuant to Chapter 33, Public Law 1997, and cannot be waived or cured after the receipt of bids. Failure to comply will result in the REJECTION of the bid. The Borough of Glen Rock reserves the right to waive technical deficiencies and to reject any and all bids if such rejection shall be found to be in the best interest of the Borough. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. of 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) regarding Affirmative Action & Executive Order 11246 regarding equal employment opportunity, as amended. All corporations and partnerships must comply with Chapter 33, of the P.L. of 1077, regarding disclosure of partners and stockholders. Bidders are required to submit with its proposal, a "Business Registration Certificate" (Form BRC (08-01), as stated in C57, Laws of 2004, S1778, and NJ Department of Treasury/Division of Revenue 609-292-1730. This form MUST be provided at the time of the bid proposal. FAILURE TO DO SO IS A FATAL NON CURABLE DEFECT IN THE BID PROPOSAL. THERE IS NO EXCEPTION. The awarded bid will be a one (1) year term of proposed contract..
