The purpose of this request for proposal (RFP) is to hire a Contractor to chip wood to a two-inch size. The tender will include but is not limited to supply the manpower and the machinery necessary to chip wood from the WMF. The RFP services are to include the following: To provide wood chipping services to the City of North Battleford for a one-time event. Wood Pile information is included in Appendix A. To provide all machinery necessary to complete the work. To prepare the wood for chipping to include sorting of contaminated wood or material. To remove steel and nails from the wood. To chip the wood to a 2" size. To store the chipped wood in an area accessible to City employees. Ensure the chipping site is clean after the work has been completed. To include mobilization, any prep work and sorting of the wood, removing the steel and nails from the wood, chipping the wood and demobilization. To submit invoices to the City of North Battleford at the annual tendered amount, within sixty (60) days of the annual wood chipping at the WMF site.
