Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Baldwin, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes approximately 17,400 square yards of roadway milling and profiling, 2 1/2 Superpave WMA binder course and 1 1/2 Superpave WMA wearing course; base repair; concrete curb removal and replace- ment with bituminous wedge curb; structure adjustments to grade; catch basin repairs and replacements; traffic control; ADA ramps; linestriping; concrete driveway adjust- ments; three add alternates for additional paving; and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said con- struction on various Borough roadways. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania "Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3"; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply.
