Site work and paving for a civil project in Baldwin, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
The scope of work includes approximately 8,400 square yards of roadway milling and profiling, 2 1/2 Superpave WMA binder course, Superpave WMA scratch course, and 1 1/2 Superpave WMA wearing course; base repair; concrete curb removal and replace- ment with bituminous wedge curb; structure adjustments to grade; catch basin repairs and replacements; traffic control; linestriping; and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction on various Borough roadways. Any technical questions regarding the bid documents are to be directed to LSSE. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Borough. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety (90) calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Attention is directed to the fact that procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania "Steel Products Procurement Act, Act No. 1978-3"; and for Contract value exceeding $25,000, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act (Act of 1961 P.L. 987), and The Public Works Employment Verification Act (July 2012) apply. liquidated damages will be assessed at the rate of $885.00 per additional calendar day
