Renovation of an educational facility in Hayward, California. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Project consists of surface preparation, including necessary abatement, and exterior painting as well as associated other work as indicated in the Drawings and Specifications. All bids shall be on the form provided by the District. As security for its Bid, each Bidder shall provide with its Bid form a bid bond issued by an admitted surety insurer on the form provided by the District, cash, or a cashier's check or a certified check, drawn to the order of the Hayward Unified School District, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Payment Bond if it is awarded the contract for the Project. The District's Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any irregularity in any bid received. The project is anticipated to start June 15, 2022 and complete on August 19, 2022 - 60 Calendar days The scope of work is the exterior painting of all existing painted surfaces . Paint all exterior of all building and appurtenant structures on campus but not limited to block walls , cement plaster walls, exposed concrete foundations, door and frames window frames metal in fill panel, trim, flashing, downspouts, non slip ramp walkways, ramp, skirting, handrails and soffits.
