As of May 24, 2022, the project did not receive bids. Aurora City Hall Entrance Repairs The City of Aurora City Hall is one-hundred and three years old. There are raised, concrete approaches installed on the North, East and West side of the building and are surrounded on either side of the steps with pedestals that are covered with stucco and have columns with lights on top of them. These elevated concrete approaches have 12 steps each that allow primary entrance to the City Hall on the 2nd floor. The garden level 1st floor (basement) has two entrances. The East basement entrance serves as the handicap entrance with a power assisted opening door that is not ADA compliant with a concrete access ramp. There is a second basement entrance that serves as an employee entrance on the South side of the building. 1. Complete repair, resurfacing or replacement of the concrete stair surfaces (tread and riser) on the North, East and West entrances with new concrete or other rehabilitation method to be approved by the owner including removal of all deteriorating concrete material, repair of spalling on steps, and repair, replacement and refurbishment of existing railing as required. 2. Repair, refacing or other suitable rehabilitation of the pedestals on the North, East and West entrances, to include removal of all water damaged material, removal and replacement of deteriorating surface stucco and any underlying concrete material as needed. 3. Repair, Replacement or rehabilitation of the East Basement handicap ramp and entrance as needed to ensure compliance with ADA standards. This work will include the replacement of the power assisted opening door and any concrete work needed. This may include removal of existing ramp if it is not compliant with ADA standards and a new ramp installed as necessary. 4. Repair of masonry damage above the South employee entrance to address deteriorating condition of the damage *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
