Renovation of a municipal facility in Kingston, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The City requires the provision of all labour, materials, equipment and permits for the demolition, disposal and creation of a new meeting space by dividing one existing room into two fully functioning rooms. Scope of work includes floor polishing, millwork, electrical, drywall and plumbing to be completed per issued drawings attached separately. The City requires the provision of all labour, materials, and equipment for the demolition, disposal and creation of a new meeting space by dividing one room into two fully functioning rooms. Proponents are required to review Appendix F - Issued for RFP Drawings and Specifications for specific requirements of the deliverables. The scope of work of this project is to create all elements required to construct and finish a new meeting space by dividing the existing dispatch room. Where construction to the dispatch room occurs, finishing elements will be required to match the existing elements of the room. The scope also includes the supply and installation of a new drop ceiling within the training room. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: - Minor demolition and disposal of nib walls in dispatch room - Polishing concrete floor where walls have been removed - Construct new partition and door to match existing in the dispatch room - Remove and reinstall existing millwork - Add power/data as shown - Removal and proper disposal of existing fluorescent fixtures (contractor to provide receipt from disposal facility) - Install new t-bar ceiling (grid and tiles) and LED light fixtures in the training room - Adjust sprinklers and HVAC as required to accommodate new drop ceiling - Construct new partition to conceal bottle filling station - Hoarding and preventative measures as required to contain dust - Thorough cleaning of construction zones Value Range: 50,001 - 100,000$ *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
