Work in general consists of storm water quality improvements and will be divided into three contracts as follows: - Contract A includes a storm water wetland and consists of excavation and bedrock removal, grading, storm sewer installation, and sanitary sewer force main installation. - Contract B includes two areas of permeable pavers, construction of a bioretention cell, and ditch grading and installation of rock check dams. - Contract C includes vegetation establishment for the wetland, bioretention cell, and a native plantings area. Additonal Description: Contractor shall fully complete Contracts A and B by October 14, 2022. Contract C shall be fully complete by September 30, 2024. The project is separated into three contracts, A, B, and C. The project is broken into six divisions. Contract A will include only Division 1. Contract B will include Divisions 2, 3, 4, and 5. Contract C will include only Division 6. Contractor may choose to bid on any or all contracts. If bidding on Contract B, Contractor must bid on all Divisions 2-5. Each contract will be awarded separately to the low, responsive bidder, with the City of Waukon having the option of not selecting a contract, subject to how bids match the city's budget.
