SCOPE OF WORK The construction project includes: The 2022 Annual Street Maintenance project consists of approximately 8,536 LF of existing roadway being improved by mill and overlay and full depth replacement. Question Cutoff Date: 4/19/2022 05:00 PM (CT) There are no fees to view or participate in this procurement process. The City strongly requests that bidders submit responses electronically. Electronic bidding eliminates errors, unnecessary work, and is friendlier to the environment. Prospective Bidders are urged to register as a vendor and become a plan holder, even if Bidding Documents are obtained from a source other than the designated website. The City's eProcurement website will be updated periodically with addenda, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the Project. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the City's eProcurement website. Prospective Bidders may examine or download the Bid Documents anytime online through the eProcurement website. Bidders must submit with their bids a bid bond in the amount of five thousand dollars, from a reliable Surety Company as guarantee that the Bidder will enter into a contract and execute bond and guarantee forms provided within ten (10) days after notice of award of contract. Checks will not be accepted. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive formalities. In case of ambiguity or lack of clearness in stating the price in the bids, the Owner reserves the right to consider the most advantageous construction thereof, or to reject the bid. Unreasonable or unbalanced unit prices will be considered sufficient cause of rejection of any bid or bids. Bidders are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves regarding conditions under which the work is to be done. City of Celina has adopted prevailing wage rates for Collin County and uses the most current listing.
