Renovation of a mixed-use development in Sparta, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and office development.
The objective of this project is to install a rubberized roof coating system over approximately 24,700+/- square feet of an existing roofing system. This square footage represents only a portion of the entire facility's roof. The work will be performed at the White County Board of Education located at 576 Hale Street in Sparta. The new roof installation must have a minimum 20-year warranty covering materials and a 5-year full warranty covering both materials and labor. Changes to the project timetable may be made due to delays outside of the contractor's control. Any changes will be at White County's sole discretion. The County reserves the right to charge liquidated damages in the amount of $100 per calendar day when work is not completed within the aforementioned timeframe. A Bid Bond must be submitted with any bid. Additionally, Payment and Performance Bonds as well as a Certificate of Insurance must be provided to White County prior to commencing work.
