Renovation of a detention facility in Sparta, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a detention facility.
Take notice that the Director of Finance for White County shall accept sealed written bids for a water heater replacement at the White County Justice Center. Each bid must be accompanied by a bidder's bond executed by the bidder and a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Tennessee, for the sum of five percent (5%) of the amount bid. In-lieu-of a bid bond a cashier's check in the amount of 5% of the bid amount, made payable to the Owner, will be accepted. The successful bidder will be required to execute a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract price, or other security such as letter of credit as described in Tennessee Code Annotated 12-4-201. Bonds must be accompanied by Power of Attorney The owner (White County) further reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive any and all informalities and to negotiate contract terms with the successful bidder, and the right to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive, or conditional bids.
