Site work and paving for a road / highway in Speedwell, Virginia. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
This project was extended due to the lack of participation. A revised scope of work will be presented in the future. Wythe County Buildings and Grounds Speedwell and Applehouse Trash Collection Center Paving Wythe County Board of Supervisors is accepting bids for the paving of two trash collection sites. The contractor will submit a sealed bid proposal that will cover the cost of tools, labor, materials, and equipment. The specifications that will be required are as follows: Gravel and stone will be removed or added to the extent that the asphalt will be placed level with the concrete pads and to allow for water to drain from the site. Removed material will be Asphalt will be delivered, laid, and compacted at 4" thick base II asphalt Location 1 (Speedwell) 6449 Grayson Turnpike, Speedwell, VA 24374 Location 2 (Applehouse) 5194 West Lee Highway, Wytheville, VA 24382 Bids should be broken down for individual sites but will be awarded as a whole to the lowest capable bidder.
