Site work for a water / sewer project in Speedwell, Virginia. Conceptual plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
Wythe County is soliciting qualified and licensed engineering firms to provide professional engineering services for planning, designing, and construction oversight of infrastructure improvements including removing debris and sediment in the waterway and floodplains, restoring hydraulic capacity of impaired waterway and floodplains, and protecting channels from additional erosion using treatment measures such as armoring, flow direction, grade stabilization, and bioengineering. The procurement is conducted in accordance with the Brooks Act, which requires contracts for engineering and architectural services to be awarded based on qualifications-based selection procedures. Price will not be used as a selection factor during the evaluation of qualifications.
