Completed plans call for the construction of a bridge / tunnel; for site work for a bridge / tunnel; for paving for a bridge / tunnel; playground / park / athletic field; and playground / park / athletic field.
Consists of the Notice, this Instructions to Bidders, the Bid Form, the Pre-Bid Question Form, the Construction Contract General Conditions, the Supplemental General Conditions (if any), the Special Conditions (if any), the Forms to be used, and the Scope of Work as described by the Plans and Specifications, other documents listed in the Specifications, and any addenda which may be issued, all of which request qualified bidders to submit competitive prices or bids for providing the described work on the project. Project No. WP0202400034 Sealed bids are invited for the construction of Hickory Street Bridge at Biscuit Run Park. The project is generally described as a 10' wide paved trail approx. 800' in length, with a crossing of Biscuit Run consisting of a 3-span prefabricated bridge (approx. 220' total span length), along with 53 new paved parking spaces along the Hickory Street shoulder (22 additional spaces included in bid-add). The County of Albemarle encourages vendors to become a registered vendor for the County. Vendors must be registered prior to the award of a contract and/or a purchase order being issued.
