Solicitation Notice N42158-22-Q-E045 Audiovisual Equipment and Installation for Command Briefing Room Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA), Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY) intends to award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Single Award Contract as necessary to provide Norfolk Naval Shipyard Building 1500 Command Briefing Room with audio visual upgrades. The contractor shall provide the needed equipment and installation as required by the specifications. The services will be acquired on a full and open, competitive basis in accordance with FAR Part 13.5 - Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items and FAR 19.502-2, Total Small Business Set-Aside. The required period of performance for this requirement is on/around September 12, 2022 through September 11, 2023. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 334310 with a small business standard of 750 employees. Responses to the Requests for Quote (RFQ) have a closing date of 8 August 2022 at 2:00 PM. The Contracting Officer will conduct a site visit at Norfolk Naval Shipyard Building 1500. All prospective offerors are urged to attend this site visit. Offerors attending the site visit will meet at the following time and location to be escorted to the site. Date: Monday July 18, 2022 Time: 10am Location: Command Briefing Room Building 1500. There is a limit of two (2) people per company. Parking is available at the Pass and ID office located at Gate 15 on George Washington Highway Portsmouth, VA 23709. There will be a shuttle available to transport parties to the facility. Please bring a state driver's license or any state issue identification. Individuals without an ID will not be permitted on base. Cameras/camera phones, lap tops, iPads or any electronic devices capable of taking photos and/or recording video/audio are not permitted on base under any circumstances. You will be permitted to take measurements of the room/video wall. Please note that each contractor will have to bring/provide their own tape measures/instruments. Please note that masks are optional. Offerors who plan to attend shall submit a visit request by Thursday July 14, 2022 by 5pm by emailing Alesha Ray alesha.j.ray.civ@us.navy.mil with a copy to Chad Godwin chad.godwin@navy.mil. Offerors shall comply with the base access requirements specified elsewhere specified in the solicitation to gain access to the site. Questions from the site visit will be in writing and due on 22 July 2022 at 1PM. Potential vendors are hereby notified that the RFQ and subsequent amendments to the RFQ will ONLY be available by downloading the documents at the above web site. This office will no longer issue hard copy RFQs. By submitting a Quote, the vendor will be self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the proposal. Through its submission, the vendor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for award to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make a vendor ineligible for award. Vendors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the Internet at http://www.sam.gov.
