The Nantucket Memorial Airport, acting through its Airport Commission ("Airport"), is seeking Quotes for Replacement of Backflow Preventer. Questions concerning this Quote Process must be submitted in writing no later than 12:00 P.M., Wednesday, April 20, 2022, to Katy Perales, Nantucket Memorial Airport, 14 Airport Rd, Nantucket, MA 02554. E-mail questions to kperales@nantucketairport.com. The Airport reserves the right to reject any or all quotes or to cancel this Quote Process if it deems it to be in its best interest to do so. Nantucket Memorial Airport is looking for a plumber to: 1. Remove existing backflow preventer 2. Provide and install a 6" Ames 2000SS double check preventer. This is a backflow preventer for the fire suppression system and will require a certification. Proof of certification must be provided with the quote. This will be a prevailing wage job. Prevailing wage rates are attached. The job will be awarded to the responsible and responsive vendor offering the lowest price. The vendor awarded the job will be expected to enter into a contract with the Airport, template attached. Quote must include parts, labor, installation, and travel.
