Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Orange Park, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
As of May 18, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Project includes the following Work: Removing 6,000 SY of existing asphalt pavement, reworking 6,600 SY of existing asphalt pavement, and expanding 2,300 SY of asphalt pavement section with shoulders requiring 13,500 SY of base materials and 14,060 SY of asphaltic pavement. Work also includes demolition of existing ribbon curb, and removal and replacement of concrete driveways and ADA curb ramps with associated striping and restoration improvements. Bid security must be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. To be considered qualified, Bidder must be licensed to engage in the business of contracting in the State of Florida by the Construction Industry Licensing Board and must have successfully completed, as prime contractor, a minimum of 3 projects of a similar nature within the past 5 years, each having a minimum contract value of $250,000 with at least one project having a contract value in excess of $500,000. The Contractor must be prequalified with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) pursuant to Section 337.14 F.S. and Chapter 14-22 FAC. The Town of Zolfo springs, Florida is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
