Site work for a municipal facility in Indianola, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The City of Indianola will be receiving bids for those companies interested in installing four outdoor warning sirens in the City of Indianola. Bid requirements and specifications are noted in the attached RFP. Funding for this project is being provided by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management Department (IHSEMD). All questions should be sent in by Friday, April 22, 2022, to allow ample time to respond to the bidders. The purpose of this request is to replace four (4) outdoor warning sirens which will be used to warn the public of tornadoes or other severe weather events. Bidder needs to ensure the system being proposed will be compatible with the Warren County Emergency Management alert system. Locations for the sirens are as follows: - Country Club Road (41.383459, -93.568296) - North 14th Street (41.376040, -93.541924) - East 2nd Avenue (41.357361, -93.539753) - West 2nd Avenue (41.357421, -93.590224)
