Site work and paving for a civil project in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Signal Improvements at Diamond Avenue & N. Vine Street , The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight for the installation of new traffic signals, removal of existing traffic signals, pavement markings, and pavement restoration as indicated on the Contract Drawings All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Davis Bacon Wages shall apply to this contract. All Prime Contractor Bidders must be PENNDOT Prequalified as a Prime Contractor and for the tasks they complete, and all subcontractors must be PENNDOT Prequalified as a Sub-Contractor for the tasks assigned. All bids received through PennBid will be opened online and referred to the City of Hazleton for final award at the Tuesday, February 14, 2023 council meeting. An abstract of the bids received will be available to bidders on PennBid following the date and time that bids are due as indicated above. The City of Hazleton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
