As of June 6, 2023, the project has been awarded. A timeline for construction has not been confirmed. Estimated Value Range: $2,000,000 to $3,000,000 Construction of the work will occur in the fall/winter of 2022, with completion required in early 2023. The Project generally consists of: Selective demolition and replacement of the existing headworks, sluiceways, and conduits. Raising the existing China Diversion spillway crest through a concrete overlay of the existing structure. Installation of new gates, electric actuators, and electrical control system. Construction of new walkways and handrails. Installation of a prefabricated control building. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and/or unit price basis, with additive or deductive alternate bid items (if any) as indicated in the Bid Form. Downloaded files may be printed on the plan holder s equipment or ordered from reprographic companies by contacting a reprographer directly. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs. The BIDDER is responsible for periodically checking the site. The CONTRACTOR that is awarded the project will be responsible for printing all documents necessary for performing the work. Prospective bidders will meet with the Water Resource Director and their Engineer. The Engineer will present a summary of the project and answer initial questions.
