Work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals necessary to maintain all fire, life and safety systems at Guadalupe Division. The Contract coordinates all testing, systems functionality reviews, reporting documentation to the State of California, maintenance repairs and replacement of failed components. Work also covers alarm pulls, strobes, bells, sprinklers and fire hydrants. The Work is fully described in the Technical Specifications. The selected contractor ("Contractor") will conduct the Work within an operating rail yard and adjacent to and within existing shop facilities. This Work will be subject to restrictions to ensure safety and the continuing operations of the yard and shop and the light rail system. This is a 7-year maintenance contract. Refer to Section 6.4 Time for Performance for the time limit to complete all Work. The Engineer's Estimate for this Work ranges from $900,000.00 to $1,000,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
