Site work and paving for a road / highway in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
In general the work consists of: the pulverizing and paving of approximately 10,000 square yards of asphalt roadway. The pavement to be replaced includes the entirety of the outer perimeter roadway, as well as paving the existing grave drive near P Building. The A Building roof drain concrete pad will also be removed and replaced. The 2017-2019 Wisconsin State Budget (2017 Wisconsin Act 59) repealed Wisconsin's prevailing wage laws. Effective September 23, 2017, state prevailing wage requirements on state building projects no longer apply. These changes take effect for projects advertised for bid after September 23, 2017. This change does not affect the Federal Davis Bacon Act requirements. Bidders that would like to attend this conference must provide a Facility Security Clearance Background Check form with full name, date-of-birth, driver's license number and state of issue for all attendees in their group. Send form to Rob Mann, JCI Building and Grounds Superintendent, 715-284-7396, Robert.Mann@wisconsin.gov, at least 5-calendar-days prior to the start of the pre-bid tour. This notice is to allow for a background check to be completed prior to the start of the pre-bid tour.
