A pavement rehabilitation project of Chateaux Ridge Court that includes an inlay (new asphalt, base course and geogrid), the installation of underdrain pipe, the spot repair of curb and gutter, and ADA improvements at the intersection of Chateaux Ridge Court and Easy Street. Every request for such interpretation shall be in writing and addressed to the City Project Manager Sara Odden, PE at sara.odden@rcgov.org, or by mail at 300 Sixth Street, Rapid City, South Dakota, 57701, and must be received at least five (5) days prior to the date fixed for the opening of bids in order for the City Project Manager to give it appropriate consideration. Each proposal for this contract shall, as a guarantee of good faith on the part of the Bidder, be accompanied by a certified check or cashier's check or draft for five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, such check to be certified or issued by either a state or national bank and payable to the City of Rapid City, South Dakota, or in lieu thereof, a bid bond for ten percent (10%) of the amount bid, such bond to be issued by a surety authorized to do business in this State, payable to the City of Rapid City, South Dakota, as a guarantee of the Bidder entering into a contract for the construction of the work and furnishing of a 100 percent Performance Bond All work shall be complete by October 14, 2022.
